IMPLEMENTATION AND MONITORING GROUP ROLE
On behalf of the signatories to the Compact, the Implementation and Monitoring Group undertakes the following work:
Promotes the development of good practice in partnership working between the public sector and the voluntary and community sector.

Produces an Annual Report on the working of the Compact.

Organises a Compact Champions Annual Event.

Identifies additional or new areas of focus.

Recommends updates of the Compact as necessary and seek approval for these changes at the Compact Champions Annual Event.

Supports the Champions in helping them to develop and monitor the use of the Compact in their organisations.

Advises on the implementation of the Compact’s principles and good practice guidance.

Develops action plans for the promotion of the Compact.

Agrees monitoring criteria and undertake regular evaluation of their effect.

Establishes dispute resolution mechanisms.
-
Supports the development of quality standards in the voluntary and community sector.

Undertakes formal reviews of the Compact, usually at three yearly intervals.

Meets not less than four times per year.
